Next month, members of the carehome.co.uk and homecare.co.uk team will once again be exhibiting at the London Care Show, held at the Olympia over the 11th and 12th of October, where we look forward to meeting clients, service users and exhibitors from all parts of the sector.

One of three yearly events – also held at Bournemouth in March and Birmingham in June – the Care Shows are of great benefit to a developing sector that depends upon innovation, transparency and versatility in order to meet the needs of an expanding and diverse customer base. Visitors will have the chance to see new products being showcased from new and existing providers, a thorough programme of seminars to attend on care matters and the current challenges the industry faces, together with attendance from the sector’s leading charities and associations such as the National Care Association, the Alzheimer’s Society, the Health Professions Council and the English Community Care Association.

Held now for more than a decade, the Care Shows continue to receive a good response from both experienced professionals and newcomers, offering an ideal environment in which for networking to thrive and for businesses and professionals to further their industry contacts. New features at this year’s event include an Activities Roadshow involving interactive training events, a summit for South East-based care providers and an overview of current construction activity, while there is also a seminar on the ‘implementation of the CQC regulatory model’ from the Care Quality Commission’s Special Policy Lead to the Chief Executive, Alan Rosenbach.
