Shaw Healthcare outstanding in over 50s housing sector

Shaw Healthcare, one of the UK’s leading health and social care providers has received two industry awards, including global recognition for outstanding practice in the over 50s housing sector.

At the Global Over 50s Housing Awards, Cardiff’s Shaw Healthcare beat off competition from 1,200 entrants across 37 countries to win the award for Most Outstanding Extra Care Facility Manager. The awards celebrate the rapid growth of the over-50s housing sector worldwide and promote excellence in performance standards globally.

Shaw Healthcare also won the award for Best Employer at the UK over 50s Housing Awards.

Chief executive of Shaw Healthcare, Jeremy Nixey, said: 'The fact that we’ve achieved a global accolade for our housing provision for over-50s in the UK is fantastic recognition for the hard work and excellent service that our staff deliver every day.'
