Residents at Bupa’s care homes are happy with the care they are receiving, according to an independent survey.
In the survey, 95 per cent of residents rated staff as good or excellent, 98 per cent said they are treated with dignity and respect within the home and 93 per cent feel the home is a happy place to live.
The survey was carried out in over 300 Bupa care homes across the UK and this is the ninth consecutive year Bupa has seen an improvement in customer satisfaction results.
Tracey Fletcher, Bupa’s director of customer service, said: ‘Given residents are at the heart of any decisions about care, we are delighted to receive such positive feedback.
‘This simply reflects how hard our staff work every day to understand the needs of each resident, from their choices about favourite food and activities, through to making sure they feel at home and receive quality, personalised care.’
