Stylish new Cheshire care home, The Westbourne, invites first visitors

The Maria Mallaband Care Group are inviting members of the Cheshire community to visit their latest state-of-the-art care residence.

The Westbourne is a Holmes Chapel-based care home designed to a five-star standard, consisting of 12 close care retirement villas fully resourced to support professional carers carrying out personalised care packages, while supporting quality and independent living.

Fully guided VIP tours are being carried out by the provider between Friday April 20 and Sunday April 22, showcasing bedroom and communal area designs, together with scenic grounds, the hair and beauty salon, and the restaurant and bar.

The first twenty visitors will also receive a free special gift, in the shape of a James Martin signed cookbook, as well as a goodie bag.

Thrilled to see The Westbourne close to welcoming its first residents, care manager Verity Williams commented: “The Open Weekend is an opportunity for anyone who is considering elderly care to come along with their families and learn about the care services we provide, and see for themselves what luxury care homes really have to offer.”

Ms Williams continued: “We’re absolutely delighted The Westbourne is complete and we’re excited that it’s time to show it to the local community. A lot of thought, detail and planning has gone into this five-star care home and it really does show.

“Anyone interested in finding out more about The Westbourne is welcome to come along this weekend – we’re hoping to see plenty of new faces over the weekend.”

As well as increasing the region’s care provision capabilities, The Westbourne has also meant a jobs boost for local care workers, employing fifty staff to assist with various residential, nursing and respite care needs, together with dementia care.

Maria Mallaband now operates thirty-four care homes in England and Wales, and one home located on Jersey.
