Named in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Jubilee Court is the latest addition to the care home portfolio of the South East-based Quantum Care, which offers a contemporary living design for older people with care needs, including adults diagnosed with dementia.

The accommodation was opened on 21st June with the help of Mayor of Stevenage John Lloyd and, as well as providing a homely environment for its residents in its six lounge and diners, also includes a Best Friends Café, an on-site shop, hairdressers and children’s play area.

Speaking at its opening, Quantum Care chief executive Maria Ball commented: “We are absolutely delighted to open Jubilee Court in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council and look forward to providing such a high standard of accommodation for older people in Stevenage.”

Together with professional care, the aim of Jubilee Court is to achieve a living atmosphere that residents feel respects and supports their independence. All of the home’s ninety rooms are en-suite, with nurse call systems installed and telephone points, as well as Internet connection and flat screen TVs.

Residents also enjoy scenic surroundings, able to relax in landscaped gardens during the warmer weather, with a choice of several patios, raised vegetable planting areas and also a small wooded area.

In adding Jubilee Court to its care home list, Quantum Care – a not-for-profit company – now runs twenty-eight purpose-built homes, all located in the counties of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex.
