One of the UK’s largest care home providers, Care UK, have announced the acquisition of three new care homes, having purchased the West Yorkshire-based Whitwood Care portfolio.
The three care homes are Whitwood House, Whitwood Hall and Whitwood Grange, all with an excellent reputation locally for specialising in care and support for adults with a learning disability, including for individuals with autism, with provision for forty-eight people in total.

We are really pleased to welcome the Whitwood Care team into our community services division.
“The three homes from Whitwood Care are a natural fit with the rest of our services for people with learning disabilities. We are busy getting to know the people who live in the homes and the teams that support them.”
In acquiring all three homes, Care UK have added another 140 employees to their workforce, alongside more en-suite care provision carried out within purpose-built interiors.
The company now operates a total of twenty-six care homes that specialise in mental health-related provision, alongside its portfolio of eighty-seven care homes dedicated to nursing and residential services.
