State-of-the-art care home opens in East Grinstead

A state-of-the-art care home has opened in East Grinstead offering both residential and nursing care for older people. Whilst in a separate suite there is an award winning programme of care for people with dementia.

Operated by Care UK, Mill View is designed around a welcoming village centre style interior and represents a new generation of Care UK homes. The home has many modern facilities including Doyle’s coffee shop, a cinema, a village store and a hair and beauty salon.

The village has a lively but relaxed atmosphere and is a great place for residents to socialise with friends or spend quality time with their families.

On 8 September, there will be a free family fun day and visit from the town mayor to mark the official opening of the home.

Rosemarie Gray, manager said: “We are looking forward to becoming active in the East Grinstead community.

“Many of our residents will be local people and we will be helping them to stay part of the community, visiting their friends and relatives and keeping up their hobbies and interests.”
