A new, £13 million care home is to be built in Coombe, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey.
The Signature Senior Lifestyle development will provide 92 suites with 24 of them being specially designed for dementia care.
The suites will range from studios to two-bedrooms and the site will include a restaurant, hair salon, lounges, cinema, spa bathroom, bistro and a dedicated space for exhibiting art.
GB Building Solutions will be building the home which is designed to BREEAM 'Excellent' standard. It will incorporate sustainable features such as a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant and solar thermal panels.
