Care home developers have released aerial photographs of their latest development, showing the construction in progress at New Fairholme in Oswestry.
This £6.9m Shropshire care home will be a new addition to the Coverage Care Services Ltd portfolio, a provider with a strong reputation for quality care in many nearby towns and communities, including Shrewsbury, Telford, Bridgnorth, Newport and Market Drayton.
New Fairholme replaces the existing Fairholme care home, offering double the space when it welcomes the current facility’s 40 residents into their new homes in the spring, while its 88 en-suite rooms will see more adults with residential care or nursing needs benefit also.
Chief executive David Coull believes the new accommodation is a ‘landmark building’ and comments: “You could call New Fairholme an exemplar for the next generation of care homes. It has been designed with the changing landscape for care needs in mind. It will allow us to provide Oswestry residents with the very best services when they need them, as well as creating jobs in the town and economically supporting the community it is part of.
“As a not-for-profit organisation we exist to provide a full range of services for older people and this is an investment in Shropshire that we are very pleased to be able to make.”
The above photograph coincides with the home entering the final stages of the construction process, with the scaffolding having recently been removed and the surrounding community able to take in, for the first time, the appearance of New Fairholme.
