Care Roadshow Glasgow will be coming to Hampden Park Stadium on 5 March, hosting seminars and workshops from many experts within the care sector.
Care home owners, managers and those involved in the care industry will be able to take advantage of this environment to network and share connections.
As well as this they will benefit from demonstrations of the latest products and services available from a broad range of exhibitors.
Throughout the day visitors will be able to go to educational seminars led by care industry experts. These seminars will cover a broad selection of issues and be free to attend.
Ranald Mair, chief executive of Scottish care will explore the current developments, challenges and issues facing the care home sector in Scotland. A late morning seminar from Lee Sheppard, the divisional manager of care homes for Apetito, will discuss nutrition and dignity. Talks in the afternoon will cover topics surrounding dementia and workforce leadership development.
Exercise therapy specialists Oomph will be at the event promoting the benefits of regular exercise for people suffering from dementia, arthritis, depression, and osteoporosis. They will be discussing how their chair based exercises ‘Cheerobics’ and ‘Strictly Fun Dancing’ can be beneficial.
As well as keeping up to date with the latest news in the industry, the event will encourage people to create ideas that will improve their own care setting and community.
