A leading care provider has been honoured with a prestigious Pinders Design Award for the third year in a row.

Staff from Bucklesham Grange Care Home, part of Hallmark Care Homes, was presented with the award for best new build in the Small Care Home category at Lord’s cricket ground last Thursday.

The home, which has 55 bedrooms, provides residential, nursing and dementia care. Its facilities include a therapy room, cinema and library.

Winning the award means the Ipswich care home follows in the footsteps of the Alexandra Grange Care Home in Wokingham and the Anisha Grange Care Home in Billericay, both part of Hallmark Care Homes, who won Pinders Design awards in 2011 and 2012.

Speaking after the event, Hallmark Care Homes managing director Avnish Goyal said: “We are delighted to win this award.

“A huge amount of energy and hard work goes into planning our homes and getting the design just right to enable our residents to live active, fulfilled lives. To win a third Pinders Award in as many years is an outstanding achievement.”
