A reputation for quality assisted living facilities has led to Barlavington Manor Residential & Dementia Care Home & Assisted Living Village Care Home, in West Sussex, being granted planning permission to create three extra bungalows.
Working with a team of consultants, which include Tanner & Tilley Town Planning and Development Consultants and Elcock Associates, the provider will be able to expand on its vision for care that is both practical and homely, offering older people with care needs luxury environments.
Katie Whitney from Tanner & Tilley comments: “This is a great project to be involved in and to be successful to help the client improve their already fantastic care offering to continue to provide a unique care facility.”
A spokesperson for the client says: “This is a great approval for a great facility, we provide rented superior bungalows and not for sale, which is quite unique.”
Residents of the assisted living bungalows will enjoy spacious living environments with views of the surrounding South Downs National Park, while the approval also includes the development of a dayroom extension that will enable Barlavington Manor to add additional dining.
Located a short distance from the town of Petworth, Barlavington Manor’s care provision is focused upon a bespoke approach to requirements, is family-run and has its own specialist Alzheimer’s and dementia unit.
