The developers behind Pannel Croft Extra Care Village, Birmingham, are celebrating after their vision for creating new communities was recognised at the Built in Quality awards.
Specialists in regeneration and housing developments, Keepmoat’s success bodes well for extra care housing in the Birmingham area, with Pannel Croft being the second of five projects under way in partnership with the city council and the ExtraCare Charitable Trust.
Chief executive Dave Sheridan comments: “Creating better places for people in our communities is the ethos of Keepmoat, so being able to deliver valuable projects like these that help those people who really need it is the real reason we do what we do.
“However, to also win awards that recognise our capabilities across a diverse range of construction projects including both refurbishment and new build is a real bonus. They really demonstrate what Keepmoat is best at.

While being a housing site that is ideal for the lifestyle of older and vulnerable adults with care needs, Pannel Croft has been developed with a community vision in mind, having its own on-site restaurant, cinema, IT suite and gym. The construction consist of 180 apartments, with both single and dual occupancy available.
The Built in Quality awards caused further caused for celebration at Keepmoat, as their city centre homelessness project Snow Hill also received an award, after being the focus of a £6.25m refurbishment carried out in partnership with Midland Heart, as well as two further regeneration projects in Coventry and Wolverhampton.
