PLMR has won Consultancy of the Year at the Public Affairs News Awards 2013.
PLMR managed to fend off stiff competition from Open Road and Bellenden and was named ‘Consultancy of the Year’, following a successful year that has seen the agency expand, win new accounts and move to new offices 391 metres from the Houses of Parliament.
The award recognises first and foremost ‘outstanding achievement to clients’, as well as sustained business success and prudent agency management.
PLMR managing director, Kevin Craig, said: “We are thrilled and honoured to have been named Consultancy of the Year by Public Affairs News. The last seven years since we started the business have not always been easy, but the dedication and hard work of our staff has been thoroughly recognised with this award. We are so grateful to the wonderful clients who have put their trust in us over the years and enabled us to reach this position.
“PLMR continues to grow, develop our range of clients, and expand our expertise. We are excited to continue providing the high quality and ethical public affairs and media relations services we have built our reputation on and are looking forward to even more successful years ahead.”
PLMR is one of the UK’s fastest growing public affairs and media relations consultancies, and is based in Church House in Westminster, London, where Parliament sat during World War Two.
PLMR fields a cross party team of 34 staff with a strong reputation for expertise in the health and social care, food and third sectors.
The latest victory builds on PLMR’s previous success, having won two Gold Lions at the 2011 Cannes Lions Festival of International Creativity.
