Expanding care provider Helen McArdle Care has held an open day at its latest new facility, situated in Redcar, after a 3.4m investment that has also resulted in the creation of 60 jobs in the community.
St Peter's Court Care Home is the provider’s second care home in the area, with the services offered at Roseberry Court Care Home, on Low Farm Drive, having already seen the company build up a strong local reputation.
Managing director Nigel Dawson comments: “This is our second home in Redcar and our third in Redcar and Cleveland. I hope that this home will be as well received as our others have been in the area. The home has been designed by our in-house architects and interior designers which has resulted in a unique living space, purpose-built to ensure that residents have a great quality of life and that they receive the very best care.”
Residents of St Peter’s Court will be able to enjoy the privacy of en-suite bedrooms, a choice of social group living areas, as well as plasma televisions and free wifi. The facility also has an on-site beauty salon and landscaped gardens.
Ruth Catton, the home’s manager, says: “We can’t wait to open our doors at the weekend to meet prospective residents and their families. I have a great team of staff joining me at St Peter’s Court and we already have lots of activities and events planned.”
St Peter’s Court is now poised to welcome its first residents.
