Care Home in East Yorkshire Sold

We are delighted to announce the sale of Holyrood House in Hedon. The home is the first of a series of sales due to complete on behalf of HICA, a regional not for profit organisation.

Holyrood House has been sold to Tony Proudfoot, a local operator who is keen to expand his portfolio. The home was originally a residential property but was converted to a care home and extended some years ago. “This is another clear example that care homes do not need to be purpose built and all en suite to be considered viable”, said Alison Taylor, DC Care’s Specialist Business Appraiser. “I’m always happy to see homes find new owners, looking to make their own mark on the local community.”
