Maria Mallaband Care Group Ltd, together with their sister company , have named their first Marketing Champion, a new award launched with a vision for recognised the hard work of staff on a daily basis.
The first winner of the award was Alan Hickson, an activities coordinator at Gateford Hill Care Home, in Worksop, for his work in helping residents to live a fulfilling lifestyle and remain a part of the community.
Alan, who received a trophy, vouchers to spend and two hampers for staff and residents, commented: “It was a great surprise to win the first ever Marketing Champion Award within the company; it comes down to a great team at Gateford Hill who have supported me greatly at all of our events and activity sessions.”
Care home manager, Helen Hopkinson, congratulated Alan, saying, “Well deserved award to Alan for all his hard work at organising different and varied events for all the residents that live at the home.”
Regional director, Colin Newton, added: “This is a fantastic result for Gateford Hill and testament to the hard work put in by Alan to ensure the residents have varied and stimulating activities to enrich their lives whilst at Gateford Hill Care Home.”
