Completing its 15th Bournemouth edition on 26 March, the most recognisable date on the care sector calendar continues to go from strength to strength, having been praised by many attendees for its vibrant seminar programme and multiple networking opportunities.

The two-day event, held twice a year, welcomed visitors from across the country, including an extensive range of products and services providers who were able to exhibit their potential to social care agencies and care home owners eager to keep up with the latest industry innovations.

Julie Burton, head of operations at Twinglobe Care Homes Limited, was among those to praise the Bournemouth show, saying: “I have attended Care Show for many years and this has been by far the best show. This year it was far more on point and the quality of seminars was good. I have been able to secure some interesting business for this year that will ensure the progression of our company. I will definitely be attending next year.”

Kathleen Rhodes, owner of Ashmead Healthcare Ltd was particularly impressed by the seminars this year, saying: “I found the ‘Skills for Care’ seminar really useful. Whistleblowing is also more important than ever for us and we're glad Care Show has highlighted this. We're looking to expand and streamline our business and are looking for technology suppliers to help us in this expansion and we've been pleased with quality and quantity of technology exhibitors we have met with.”

The next Care Show date is pencilled in for 3 – 4 November at Birmingham’s NEC, when more representatives from the NHS, from care services, local authorities and GPs are expected to attend.

Kyle Williams, senior events officer at England’s regulator the Care Quality Commission, found the event to be a positive experience, saying: “We have definitely spoken to the relevant audience at Care Show Bournemouth. We attend each year and it is always a great event to engage with our key stakeholders and get some valued face-to-face contact.”
