London to host the UK’s biggest health & social care event

The UK’s biggest health and social care event, Health+Care, will return to London’s Excel convention centre on 24–25 June.

The event will showcase a range of speakers, experts in their field, personalised experiences and a specialised programme of events tailored to visitor needs.

Health+Care is organised by CloserStill Media which specialise in healthcare events, offering visitors the chance to meet face to face with influential industry professionals.

Providing case studies and solutions to health and social care problems

3,000 free passes have been made available for health and social care professionals, giving them access to seven shows including: The Commissioning Show, The Residential Care Show, Integrated Care Conference, Public Health, The Home Care Show, Care Commissioning and Technology First. Once all free passes have been allocated, tickets will be available to purchase for £699+VAT.

Health+Care is the largest national health and care event offering a networking and learning experience with input from more than 350 speakers, providing debates, case studies and solutions to current health and social care problems.

As the event will take place after the general election, Health+Care will host talks from new ministerial speakers who will be making their first addresses to public at the conference.

Sessions will be held on improving care homes, led by John Kennedy, director of services for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, and the seven most common recruitment mistakes made when recruiting for the care and nursing sector, as led by Russell Crawford, chief executive of London-based recruitment company, Angel Human Resources.

The 25 stream programme will cover a range of topics including: social work progress, early intervention and personalisation, health and well-being, integrating mental health, general practice as well as out of hospital care and co-commissioning.

Other speakers include head of policy and public affairs for Alzheimer’s Society, George McNamara and chief executive of Care England, Professor Martin Green who said:
