Braefield Private Nursing Home welcomes next generation of carers

On Monday 29th June, Care Circle Group’s Braefield Private Nursing Home were delighted to open its doors to Northern Regional College, Health & Social Care course student entrants by providing an open day at the home.

Braefield Private Nursing Home came highly recommended to Head of Department, Ann Brien at Northern Regional College amongst its competitors in the Ballymena area. Care Circle Group are highly regarded within the health care sector being recognised as an “Employer of Choice” in the Business in the Community NI awards, just one of many accolades the Care Circle Group holds.

Students aged 12 to 16 had opportunity at the open day to gain insight and guidance from staff at Braefield as to how the course could further them in their career. Braefield Home Manager and staff were privileged to have been chosen to give the benefit of their experience to the next generation of health care staff. The team at Braefield worked tirelessly to ensure the day was as fun and educating as possible. The students were able to speak with various staff members ranging from the Activities Co-Ordinator to Care Assistants and Nurses, who took time to explain what their different roles entail.

Staff at Braefield were encouraged to hear that so many of the students enjoyed their day and were looking forward to starting their course within the care sector.
