Adult social care provider Precious Homes Ltd has revealed the acquisition of the assets of Consensa Care, an adult learning disability provider.
The Consensa Care portfolio consists of five facilities, which were acquired by Precious Homes on 1 October 2015.
Three homes are based in Stratford and Manor Park in London and Ilford in Essex. The final two locations are as yet unnamed, and will not be operational until ‘later this year’, a company spokesperson explained.
Commenting on the Precious Homes expansion, managing director Mitesh Dhanak, said: “We have an incredibly talented team of adult social care experts and we will now be able to provide our high quality support services to many more people across the country.
“These are exciting times for Precious Homes and we look forward to growing our reputation as one of the UK’s leading adult social care providers.”
The acquired homes will be rebranded to become part of the Precious Homes Group, which consists of 21 care homes that support individuals with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental health issues and those who may have behaviour described as challenging.
Precious Homes Ltd focus on care that empowers adults to become more independent and confident while helping them to successfully integrate into the community.
The organisation also work in partnership with independent housing providers to enable people to maintain their own tenancy within their own home, offering residential care, outreach and respite services.
