Norse Care’s owner Norse Group, which also operates facilities management firm Norse Commercial Services and property consultancy NPS Group states it has boosted the UK economy by £286 million a year. The Norfolk-based Norse Group now has its sights set on the title of National Public Champion at the international stage of the European Business Awards and is appealing for votes.

Highlighting the group’s success, its managing director Mike Britch said: “We are investing over £40 million in building new care homes and upgrading others to reach out to a new generation of older people.”

Norse Group will join more than 400 businesses from 32 countries in Europe competing for the title of National Public Champion for their country in this year’s European Business Awards. The group is competing for votes with 53 UK firms who also received UK National Champion status.

Each company has posted a video on Awards website www.businessawardseurope.com outlining their success, which the public can view and vote for from now until 26 February. The national public champion for each country will be the company that receives the highest number of votes.

Mike Britch added: “We are hoping that as many people as possible will watch our video and vote for us.”
