Culmore Manor goes live...

A debut for Culmore Manor…the home had its first webcam wedding on Friday 29th April 2016. Resident Kathleen Friel’s grandson was getting married but unfortunately Kathleen was unable to attend, however thanks to the marvels of modern technology the family supplied a laptop so Kathleen could be a part of the wedding and not miss out on the special day!

Kathleen couldn’t believe she was watching her family on screen. Appropriately dressed, Kathleen wore a beautiful peach dress, matching coat and of course a hat!

It was a new experience for the 96 year old who was delighted to see the marriage taking place, there were a few tears shed.
