The date of Saturday 2nd July played witness to Braefield Private Nursing Home’s residents’ summer party.
Braefield P.N.H. did not allow the weather to dampen their plans as they kicked off with music supplied by DJ Barney who spun a selection of tunes to suit all ages. There was a barbecue on site with delicious burgers and hot dogs offering choice relishes for those with a discerning palate; Northern Ireland’s own Maud’s ice-cream also featured on the food bill for the sweet toothed. Residents and relatives were entertained by Seven Towers Ballymena Irish Dancers and the award winning ‘Jivers’ from Co. Donegal.
Toes and heels were a ’tapping. Buddy the Clown went down a treat with children of all ages! Outdoors Clementsmount Fun Farm amused visitors and especially for the children a bouncy castle was to be found along with an assault course. A selection of vintage cars courtesy of Ballymena Old Vehicle Club were also on display to the amazement of many guests and residents. A choice of stalls such as cupcakes, jewellery and hand crafts all went down a treat. Braefield Private Nursing Home building and outdoor spaces overflowed with people who all thoroughly enjoyed the event.
Care Circle Group and Braefield Private Nursing Home, Kells extend their gratitude to the generous benefactors who contributed with donations and from proceeds raised by the raffle.
