In November, residents, families and staff from Plas Bryn Rhosyn in Neath came together to celebrate the care home’s first anniversary.

Personal assistant and singer extraordinaire, Katie Williams, got the party started with some classic songs and residents enjoyed singing along and dancing to the music.

A three-tier rainbow cake was the star of the show, made by kitchen assistant Sarah Crummins, it really was a show-stopper.

At 106, Doris Griffiths, Plas Bryn Rhosyn’s most mature resident, was given the job of cutting the cake, ably-assisted by manager Fran Thomas and assistant manager, Julie Thomas.
