Other high-profile speakers at the event at the NEC in Birmingham on 17-18 October include Deborah Ivanova, deputy chief inspector of Adult Social Care in the London and South regions, Jane Silvester, NICE's first associate director for Social Care and Martin Green, chief executive of Care England.

Over the two days, visitors can listen to a whole range of topical talks and debates. These will include a discussion on the long-anticipated green paper, introducing technology into care, a fall prevention programme and how to enhance dementia care environments.

Those more interested in home care can get advice on being rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC, medicine support and guidance on how to shape your home care business.

Mike Corbett, manager of the Care Show said: “I know how dedicated to the care industry you and your colleagues are. I also know this can be extremely difficult in today’s UK care system and it is a difficult daily battle.

“You'll learn and see more in two days at The Care Show than you would in months from your office. It can often feel like you're too busy to take time out, but spending even one day at the event dedicated to helping you find the best solutions, will help you to save time through efficiencies in the future.”

He added: “We have a long list of informative presentations to boost your levels of care, motivate your team, drive efficiency and ultimately help you grow your care business. The expert and insightful speaker line-up we have put together, will provide you with lots of practical solutions, tips and strategies to help you and your team.”

As well as listening to a range of interesting talks, visitors can network and share ideas with like-minded care professsionals and peruse the exhibitor stands where there will be a huge array of products and services for people in the care sector.
