Stamp Appeal for RNIB

Last Updated: 18 Dec 2018 @ 00:00 AM

Here at Stocks Hall Ormskirk Home we are collecting any stamps for the RNIB #StampAppeal.

How stamps make a difference - At RNIB they love and value all stamps - whether they’ve already been used, first or second class, foreign, first day covers, presentation packs or albums! They can use them all to raise funds for blind and partially sighted people across the UK. Stamps are sold by weight and they raise £20 per kilogram so it is one of the easiest ways to raise money!

Every day 250 people will begin to lose their sight and many will face a future without any help or support. By supporting RNIB this Christmas, you can help change this and give people with sight loss the gift of a brighter future.

Already, people living at the Home are saving stamps from Christmas cards they have received. So please before you throw away that envelope in the bin - check to see if it has a stamp. Save it, then hand it to Stocks Hall Ormskirk - THANK YOU X
