Hambleton care home Resident celebrates special birthday

Residents and Colleagues at HC-One's Bankhouse care home came together to celebrate fellow Resident, Joe Grimes’ 90th birthday.

Everyone was able to enjoy a variety of treats including chocolates and cakes, with some even opting to enjoy a small tipple of prosecco wine or beer, or hot refreshments such as tea and coffee.

Joe’s family also attended the occasion, and he was able to thoroughly enjoy his day as his favourite visiting entertainer, Ella Coleman, serenaded the home with her wonderful singing.

Residents enjoyed celebrating Joe’s milestone birthday with him, with many remarking how lovely the afternoon was, and congratulating Joe.

Janet Barnes, Home Manager, commented: “It’s been wonderful to celebrate Joe’s birthday, and it was nice to see how everyone enjoyed themselves, especially Joe with his friends and family.”
