Residents enjoy singing sensation at Oaklands

Residents and colleagues at HC-One’s Oaklands care home were delighted to welcome regular singer, Peter, to entertain at the home.

Peter serenaded the home with a selection of songs from the 1950s and 60s, with residents dancing and singing, or clapping their hands along to the music.

Relatives enjoyed the performance and danced with the residents, remarking how lovely it was to see everyone dancing along.

Everyone enjoyed themselves as Peter impressed all with his wonderful singing voice, with residents especially enjoying listening to the songs they had listened to as children.

Stephanie Massey, home manager, commented: “It’s always wonderful to see so many happy faces enjoying the music and dancing together. Residents enjoy afternoons like this and we enjoy spending them together.”
