Residents and the team at Leeming Bar Grange in Northallerton have taken part in a sponsored walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.
Residents and the team pulled together to complete a 100 laps of their beautiful garden! Everyone at the home was very supportive and were there to cheer each other on throughout the fundraising challenge.
Kim Calvert, Activities Coordinator at Leeming Bar Grange Care Home, said: “Taking part in this challenge has been a huge amount of fun and everyone at the home has been behind us all the way. It’s for such an important cause. I’m very glad to be able to do my bit to raise further awareness and money for the charity.”
Leeming Bar Grange raised a grand total of £215.50 by completing the challenge, which will be donated to Alzheimer’s Society.
