Staff and residents at Barchester’s Worplesdon View Care Home in Guildford had a great time celebrating Wear it Pink Day on Sunday 18th October. Wear it Pink Day is a day during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where we wear pink, raise money and help make life-saving breast cancer research and life-changing care happen.
The activities team and staff at Worplesdon View Care Home created a range of special activities to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness in our home this Sunday. Residents' participated in activities that they particularly enjoyed, and all wearing pink.
General Manager, Graham Allan said: “We were proud to celebrate with our residents Wear it Pink day to raise awareness and be able to help others with a problem in that many faces."
