Stepping Stones Care Homes has been bought by National Care Group which offers community-based support as well as accomodation for adults with additional and complex needs in the UK.

The acquisition includes Stepping Stones’ care homes Phoenix House, Ryecroft Apartments and Primrose House in Northampton, which provide rehabilitation for people with complex mental health needs and help them gain greater independence.
All three facilities help reintegrate people into the community and have been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.
Stepping Stones' services has become part of National Care Group’s Wellington Support Ltd operation.
Further acquisitions to strengthen ‘regional and national presence’
National Care Group supports people with complex additional needs arising from their learning disability, mental health or an acquired brain injury.
“We are continuing to rollout our ambitious growth strategy with further acquisitions as well as organic growth in the pipeline", said Mike Ranson, commercial director at National Care Group.
“This strong forward progression is essential to strengthen National Care Group’s regional and national presence.”
Wendy Khan, Stepping Stones’ registered manager and Julie Brown, its business administrator are among the staff who have joined the National Care Group.
