Sponsored silence 100 challenge

Our residents at Alice Grange challenged our lead activities coordinator to do a sponsored silence. Those of you that know Penny, will know that was a very hard challenge for someone so chatty.

Penny aimed to raise £100. for Captain Tom 100 challenge and managed to triple that and raising £300 for Bone Cancer Research Trust.

Thank you to all who sponsored her. She was soon back to her chatty self.

Margaret our resident ambassador said: "I don't know how she did it I certainly couldn't. People were constantly asking her things but she held out. There was a huge round of applause when Penny completed it. I do prefer it when she is talking though"

Penny did this challenge on The May Day Bank Holiday but received her certificate today.
