Happy pug makes for a very happy care home

In what looks like the happiest canine we have ever seen in Ilkeston. Poppy, Activity Coordinator Naomi Allsop’s treasured Pug, visited the care home to spread his cheeky charm amongst residents.

Residents at Canal Vue Care Home had the pleasure of Poppy’s company as she made his way around the home on her visits. Pictured here with Mr Donald Rose, it looks like they shared a private joke before she moved on to say hello to the other dog lovers amongst us.

Naomi Allsop, Activities Coordinator at Canal Vue Care Home says: “I like to bring Poppy into the home, both residents and Poppy get a lot from the interaction, she just seems to know what to do to make people smile, she certainly creates a stir when she visits.”
