At St Margaret’s, residential, nursing care and residential memory care home, in Durham have had a lovely donation from a Brownies group in Durham.

The Brownies are a group of girls aged 7-10 years old, and there are many groups across the country.

It allows girls to experience new challenges, opportunities and fun.

The local Brownies from Neville’s Cross had been busy making Christmas cards and crafts for all the Residents at the care home.

The Residents were really looking forward to receiving the gifts from the Brownies group.

Brownie leader, Annette, delivered all the crafts to the home.

One Resident, commented, “The Brownies are very thoughtful and kind.”

Care Home Manager, Hazel Southern, added, “What an amazing kind gesture. It is so lovely that the Brownies are keeping in contact with us.”
