Saint Cecilia’s Care Group will pay new recruits’ mortgage, gas, electric water, and other household bills up to the value of £1,000 to help them manage during the country's cost of living crisis.

A spokesperson for the company told carehome.co.uk, the recruitment incentive is "a temporary offer" aimed at filling staff vacancies at the group’s five care homes across Whitby, Scarborough and Pickering.

The company is looking for 25 care staff across its five care homes.

We are offering to 'ease that worry' of rising bills

Saint Cecilia’s director Aaron Padgham said: “Some of the biggest challenges facing people at the moment are rising bills and so we are offering to ease that worry for anyone who would like to join us.

“Whether you are new to care or in another position, we will be happy to pay mortgage, gas, electric, water or any other bills, up to a total of £1,000, to any new carers at Saint Cecilia’s.”
