Great British Care Awards - national winners and regional finalists

It was a very proud affair for all at Abbey Healthcare who attended the 2022 Great British Care Awards National Finals.

We had four of our amazing staff in the finals after winning their categories in their regions; Lorraine Welham East Midlands Regional Winner - Care Home Registered Manager, Gulzar Nazir North West Regional Winner - Care Home Registered Manager, Emma Rogers North West Regional Winner - Social Care Covid Hero and Balraj Kaur East Midlands Regional Winner - Social Care Nurse.

The night was incredible, celebrating everyone's achievements in Health and Social Care, especially with the attendance of Kate Garraway who played a huge part in the awards ceremony and whose inspirational words touched us all deeply.

The icing on the cake was the recognition of Emma Rogers (Carer/Unit Manager at Kenyon Lodge), who received the National Care Award for Social Care Covid Hero, it’s a fantastic achievement and many congratulations to her.

Also, Balraj Kaur (RGN/Clinical Lead Aaron Court) was awarded Highly Commended for The Social Care Nurse Award, again another fantastic achievement To our winners and finalists, we are so proud of you all!
