Rabbit care

Our residents got stuck in with cleaning out the rabbit hutches this afternoon and also enjoyed a cuddle or two with our resident bunnies, Billy & Hoppy. Activities of daily living are so important to our residents & help give them a sense of purpose.

* We tried out a new technique for cleaning green algae from the rabbits water bottles & it worked!

So here's our top tip for you: Put a handful of dry rice in the empty water bottle, half fill with cold water, put the lid back on & shake vigorously. Once clean make sure to rinse out all the rice, as it does stick a bit!
