The Masked Singer – who will be crowned the winner?

The Masks are on as we celebrated our Laughter and Sunshine event with ‘The Masked Singer’ contest here at Wheaton Aston Court Care Home.

As smiley-faced residents filled the audience, our Home Manager, Ryan, hosted the event. Acts took to the stage to sing their masks off; first to perform was Washing Machine, followed by Chocolate Box, RoboKitty, and last but not least, Cottage.

Residents giggled and cheered as each act got on stage and performed their favourite songs. Many of the residents joined in and danced in their chairs. The judges, Matt, Steve, Doris, and Shirley had the hard job of deciding which act would be crowned the ‘Masked Singer Champion’. They were scoring the performance, audience interaction, and of course the mask!

And the winner of the Laughter and Sunshine, ‘The Masked Singer’ event is… Staff Nurse, Star, starring as Washing Machine!

Well done Star and our other Masked Singers, Emma, Jane and Laura – it was a very close competition!
