Care home reviews site reveals UK's top care homes in 2022

The UK’s leading care home reviews site has revealed the top care homes in 2022.

The awards are based on reviews of the care home written by their residents, as well as their friends and relatives, with thousands of homes battling it out to make it into the Top 20 for each of the 12 regions.

Looking for a care home can be time-consuming as well as emotional due to it being a huge life change. carehome.co.uk launched its Top 20 awards back in 2014, with the aim of making people’s search for a care home easier.

In its annual awards, carehome.co.uk names the Top 20 care homes in 12 regions in the UK as well as the leading care home groups.

There are over 17,000 care homes in the UK caring for around half a million people. Over 12,000 of these care homes support older people aged 65 and over, while the rest care for people with learning disabilities and mental health issues.

Residents, relatives and friends rate the homes on their overall standard, their facilities, the quality of their care and support, cleanliness, whether residents are treated with dignity, the standard of food and drink, staff, activities, management, security and value for money. carehome.co.uk is the leading care home reviews website and lists all registered UK care homes, helping people in their quest to find the right care home.
