KRG Healthcare, whose two care homes are located on the borders of Norfolk and Suffolk, scooped the ‘Small Residential Care’ Award at the Laing & Buisson Awards last week.
The care group operates Lound Hall Nursing Home in Suffolk, and Manor Farm Care Home in Suffolk. The two homes have been on a remarkable journey in recent years and through KRG Healthcare’s strong leadership and staff initiatives are rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, with both working towards achieving an ‘Outstanding’ rating. They were also the first care homes in the world to adopt a pioneering new care management system, PredicAire, which has itself been nominated for several awards in 2022.
The Laing & Buisson Award is the second celebration this month for KRG Healthcare. Several weeks ago its nursing home, Lound Hall, won the regional ‘Care Team’ Award at the Great British Care Awards, the second year in a row in which they have received this accolade. KRG Healthcare may have further cause for celebration before the end of the year, as they are also finalists in the national Caring Times Awards.
Vinay Patel, Managing Director of KRG Healthcare, said, “Everyone at KRG Healthcare is delighted and honoured to have brought the Laing & Buisson Award back to the East of England. It is testament to the hard work of everyone at the company, who provide high-quality care to our residents every day. We are looking forward to continuing celebrating this prestigious win into the festive period and new year.“
