Beetle Drive

If you are unfamiliar with the game, it’s very simple. Each number on a die represents a part of the beetle, all you have to is throw the die, draw the body part and the first person to produce a complete image of the beetle wins. It’s more fun than it sounds.

We held our own beetle drive last week and it really was a lot of fun, I learned that some of the residents here are a lot more competitive than I had imagined they would be, I also learned that a beetle is not that easy to draw, most of our beetles bore little resemblance to the actual creature.

A lot of the old games have gone out of fashion, but it is time to bring them back, no batteries required, just a piece of paper, a glass of wine, a cold beer, a pencil, a die and a sense of fun and you have everything that you require for a very entertaining afternoon.
