Wear A Hat Day

At Steep House Nursing Home, we celebrated Wear a Hat Day to raise awareness of brain tumour research. Along with the fun hats, hat songs, singing and dancing, we also remembered what the day was for.

We sang and danced to songs like You Can Leave Your Hat On, The Sun has got his Hat on and Where Did You Get That Hat.

Wear A Hat Day has become a nationally important fundraising and awareness event that people across the UK (and beyond!) support every year. Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What's more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer... yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
