Himley Mill care home celebrates International Nurses Day

HC-One’s Himley Mill care home in Himley, just outside Wolverhampton, celebrated the amazing work that nurses do across the globe each and every day for International Nurses Day.

The team and Residents at Himley Mill wanted to organise a special thank you gesture for the wonderful nurses working in the care home. Each nurse received flowers and a goodie bag as a token of appreciation for their dedication and compassion, awarded at a celebratory pizza lunch arranged by the Home Manager, Amy Barton.

Ms Barton said after the event: “We were very keen to acknowledge the hard work of our fantastic nursing team, they are inspirational and support our Residents with genuine kindness in their hearts.”
