Wizard of Oz day

The Wizard of Oz movie was released on the 18th of August 1939. This morning we reminisced about the iconic characters such as Dorothy and her little dog Toto, Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion. We also learned some fun facts and trivia about the story and movie, took part in a themed quiz and learned about Judy Garland and her amazing career.

This afternoon some of us followed the yellow Brick Road to our cinema to watch the movie with children family and friends, there was a lot of singing along to the well-known classic songs like ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ whilst others got creative and made scarecrows for our garden.
