Owl Show and Tell

We had a lovely visit from Nina and Graham from Owl Show and Tell. Graham told us lots of interesting things about Nina and owls in general. Nina was an orphan and started her life in an incubator, so Graham became both mum and dad and Nina is devoted to him. It’s so wonderful to see but we found out, that Nina is a little spoilt. She mostly eats chicks but for Christmas dinner, Nina had quail. Now Nina is ‘fed up’, which is actually a term used for birds of prey, when they have eaten so much that they become unwilling to fly or move to catch food.
