Turning back time with M&S memory box

Redwalls had a wonderful afternoon sharing memories, thanks to a wonderful Memory Box from M&S

The box, which contained a number of items from the 40's, including old money, a ration book and a number of items of clothing worn at that time, went down a storm, as part of the build up to 80th Anniversary of D-Day.

Vera, one of the residents had a wonderful time dressing up in some of the clothes that she remembered people wearing when she was younger. Another resident told her she looked like the Queen.

The box is on loan from M&S for a month and they are looking forward to dressing up in some of the clothes on the 80th Anniversary of D-Day on 6th June.
