World Chocolate Day - Does it get any better?

The purpose of the holiday was to commemorate the supposed anniversary of the opening of the first chocolate bar in Europe in 1550. Ever since people from all around the world have celebrated World Chocolate Day with great excitement. Researchers estimate that chocolate has been consumed for over 2,000 years.

Yesterday residents and staff ravelled in all things sweet and enjoyed chocolaty activities - an exciting tasting experience, where they had the chance to try different flavoured chocolate from all over the world, whilst also taking part in themed chocolate quiz before then choosing our most favourite chocolate!
