A day reminiscing at Poppyland's Cafe

A trip out and a trip down memory lane all in one day.

We visited Poppyland a 1940s themed café located in Horsey on the Norfolk coast . As well as enjoying a fantastic lunch and some of the biggest chips we've ever seen we experienced life in the 1940s. There was an array of 1940s memorabilia that Poppyland's had to offer and after lunch we even visited the code breaking room, shops from the 40's and even wore some of the memorabilia.

On the trip back home we were singing "The White Cliffs of Dover" and the " Chattanooga Choo Choo".

Supporting residents to enjoy outings, shopping, meals out and other trips is a key aspect of the weekly activities calendar.
