Enjoying Physio Session

Our Physiotherapist Raluca has been supporting Residents to use our new Thera Bike . The Thera Bike is beneficial to people with conditions such as MS and Parkinson's' disease, and people recovering from stroke, spinal or brain injury. Because the movements can be supported by a motor, it is also suitable for those with Paraplegia. Residents benefit to improve Strength , balance and coordination , it may help to prevent falls and fractures , as the bike is low impact exercise that places little stress on the joints .
